Yorkshire Vape Runs

In the New Year, CAM-VIP will be stepping up a gear.
We will be recommending specific ecigs suitable for pub going smokers and we will also have a range of eliquids called 'Vapours 'n' Ale'!
In addition, the Yorkshire Branch of CAM-VIP will be organising monthly 'Vape Runs'. This is where a village or small town is visited on a Sunday and the pubs are made aware of ecigs as a legal alternative to smoking inside. We are blessed with some beautiful countryside and some wonderful villages - let's get the word out there and enjoy the hospitality of their public houses :).
If any other groups of ecig users wish to do the same in their area, please get in touch with HQ here and we will send you out a promo pack of signs, posters and cards.

On the first outing, there was myself and my wife Jan, Rusty and his wife Jessica. A nice little foursome.
We decided to cold-call in three pubs we'd never set foot in before.
In all three we vaped openly, with the full consent and even approval from the landlord.
We did draw some strange glances from other customers, but what really came out of it was that NO-ONE objected! Which amazed me and made me wonder why on earth I usually stealth vape in these cicumstances.
It eventually dawned on me that it was courage in numbers.....I don't think I'd have done it on my own!
Anyway, the four of us had a great afternoon in Hatfield Village on the outskirts of Doncaster,
so I'd like to say a big thanks to Russ and Jess for being great company, but most of all a really big thank you to:
The Ingram Arms................A candidate for a Cam-Vip VIP night.
The Bay Horse.....................A lovely old pub with great atmosphere
The Bluebell.........................Nice cheap Sunday lunch, lovely landlord and landlady, very welcoming.
All three pubs were given Cam-Vip literature, I plan to return in a couple of weeks for any feedback.
Overall the first Vape Run was a complete success!
